June 1st : Samaritan Training Undergoes Company Re-brand to:
Vital Training

In 1995 the Samaritan Training Agency was founded to provide First Aid and Safety training programs to coastal residents. May 2008 saw the purchase of Samaritan Training by the Sunshine Coast Resource Centre Society (Community Resource Centre). With a new management team in place, we have shifted the focus of the organization to the future needs of the community by operating as a Social Enterprise.
The management of the organization is made up solely of volunteers and all profits from VITAL TRAINING are funneled back to the community to offer programs through the Community Resource Centre.
The Samaritan Team has worked diligently over the last 12 months to create a new learning environment and improve the quality of service for clients. We have had the facility and business operation accredited by Work Safe BC; we have recruited or trained five additional experienced, professional staff and expanded the calender of comprehensive first aid and safety courses to meet the growing demand from local businesses.
After just one year in business we have re-branded as VITAL TRAINING; a business that demonstrates our commitment to professionalism and passion for providing the best first aid and safety training right here on the Sunshine Coast.
Our Partners

We offer a wide variety of first aid and safety courses, approved and provided by the the three partners shown above.
The business transformation includes expanded course offerings and more flexibility in re-certifying, aiming to provide a wider variety of options for individuals, coastal employers and specific groups on the Sunshine Coast.
