This is a fast paced one-day course teaching basic life saving first aid procedures for adults. It includes practical skills that can be applied at the scene of an accident.  Instruction focuses on the priority action approach (emergency scene management) for adults experiencing the following medical conditions: airway obstruction, breathing distress or absence, shock, serious bleeding, minor wound care, burns & eye injury.
This course is recommended for adult workers in industrial settings.

This course is designed to teach first aid attendants advanced first aid techniques to sustain life until paramedics arrive, or the patient can be transferred to the local hospital in under 20 minutes.
Picture ID and a statement of firtness form  is required prior to taking the course. 
In sssssome circumstances students may require a physical exam, this is no longer manadatory.

80 hrs min + 4-6 hr Exam                                                                                                                                              
This course is designed for first aid attendants in industry who are located up to  1 hour from a hospital.  It teaches advanced medical techniques for sustaining life and transferring a patient to a hospital setting following the  priority action approach, including anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, medical referral, resuscitation with oral airway, pocket mask, BVM, and suction, Oxygen Therapy, immobilization with backboard and hard collar and much more.
Picture ID is required,  plus completion of a statement of fitness form, prior to taking the course.
In some circumstances students may require a physical exam, this is no longer manadatory.

This course is particularly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts.

This refresher course teaches life saving protocols for all types of casualties affecting adults, children or infants. It is intended for people who have a some first aid knowledge, but need to refresh their skills.
Candidates include those who have a duty to respond to a medical emergency in a pre- hospital care environment.        The course is designed for workplace first aiders, police, firefighters, lifeguards, ski patrol, coaches and others that may need to perform CPR on adults, children or infants in the community or workplace.
 
Family members looking after infants or children may want to consider our "Save that Child"  program,  a 4 hour afternoon /evening course teaching the basics of first aid care at home.

This one-day, 8 hour course teaches life saving protocols for adult casualties. It is intended for people who have a duty to respond to a medical emergency in a pre- hospital care environment. The course is designed for workplace first aiders, police, firefighters, lifeguards, ski patrol, coaches and others that may need to perform CPR on adults.
This is also for you if you have an adult family member who is at risk of cardiovascular emergency.

This course is highly recommended for professionals who care for babies and children.
This course is not equivalent to Level 1 Occupational First Aid.
