Prerequisite: Must be physically able to perform the skills and have gr. 7 reading level. Typically age 14 plus.
A one-day course teaching basic first aid and life saving protocols for infants, small children and adults.
Participants will learn how to assess the scene of an emergency situation and determine the appropriate sequence & priority of first aid treatments.
This course is highly recommended for professionals or family members who care for infants and children.
This course is not equivalent to Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA 1)
