A non-certificate course for parents, grandparents, babysitters and others who care for infants or children. The course stresses accident prevention and teaches the following first aid skills: preventing childhood emergencies, first aid for shock and unconsciousness, first aid for stopped breathing, first aid for choking, CPR for infants and children, first aid for wounds and bleeding, first aid for burns and poisoning, first aid for convulsions and seizures.
A St. John Ambulance certificate of attendance will be awarded upon completion of the course.
