INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

Admission Requirement:
Students must be 16 years of age to receive WorkSafe BC certification for Workplace First Aid courses.

Basic first aid courses are available for students 14 yrs of age through adult.

Babysitting courses are offered for ages 12 and up

Starting times:

All course starting times are posted on the calendar. The only exceptions being OFA Level 2 & 3 which start at 8 am and babysitting courses which start at 9 am.

Students will also be notified about starting times when the register.

FEES:

All fees are subjest to 12 %HST this will be added to the posted course fee.

Transferring to a different course or changing the date:

An administration fee of $20.00 will be retained by Vital Training for a student requesting to transfer to another course, with less than 5 business day's notice prior to the course start date.

If students are asked to leave the course due to illness, we will make every attempt to accommodate them in the next available course, with no additional charge.

Refunds:

Fees will not be refunded if the cancellation of a class by the student occurs less than 5 business days prior to the start date of the class.

50% of fees will be returned if cancellation is received 6 days prior to start date of the course.

Books must be returned in good condition with original receipts, in order to receive a refund.

Refund After Course Starts - OFA Level 2 or 3 only:

No refund is available once an OFA level 2 or OFA level 3 course has started

Refunds is a student is requested to leave the course

If a student is requested to leave due to illness, Vital Training will schedule that student into the next available course with no extra charges.

No refund will be available to students who are requested to leave the course due to misconduct, as defined in the posted Work Safe BC policies.

Course Cancellation by Vital Training:

A full refund will be issued and transfer fees will be waived if Vital Training cancels the course.

Every attempt will be made to re-schedule a student in the same or equivalent course within the month.
