	Marine Basic Red Cross 8.30 to 5 pm  each day (16 hrs)                                                                                                                                        The full course teaches standard first aid & CPR-C plus a marine component. The marine portion focuses on improvisation in unusual circumstances, dealing with less sanitary conditions and working in confined spaces. 	Marine Advanced  8.30 - 4.30 daily, 5 full days                                                                                                                                                                     The course provides comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques with scenarios for those who work in marine settings and require a higher level of training to respond to marine emergencies. The course content meets Transport Canada training program standards and Federal regulations for a First Responder in Marine First Aid. 	Wilderness & Remote First Aid 20 hrs min Friday night- Sunday ( 5 hrs outdoors on the  school property).                                                                                       This course includes material in Standard First Aid courses plus special content for wilderness and remote areas. Students will learn strategies to provide extended care for up to 24 hrs. Suitable for individuals who live, work or take trips into isolated wilderness areas. 	Advanced Wilderness & Remote First Aid 40 hrs. min. 8 am -4 pm daily  1 week duration. (including 20 hrs outside within the school  site)                                                                                                 This course includes standard First Aid & CPR, plus advanced procedures and strategies to provide extended care for more than 24 hrs.  Students who hold a valid certificate for standard First Aid + CPR (2 days) will be eligible to take a wilderness upgrade, of 3 days duration, focusing on outdoor simulations.  (3 day $300) This course is designed for individuals who supervise groups or individuals and employees operating in remote locations.
